		<description>I completely agree with you webnician.  One real big thing the Canon has going is the size of their sensor.  I made the switch to the Nikon D50 from my Sony P93, so that I could get some nicer lenses, and make sure that it was me, and not the camera that was screwing up the shot

		<description>Well, I have tested it, too, and I have a similar rant, but a slightly differing opinion. I agree that it&#039;s all sales-driven hype. However, there IS quite a difference between 2 and 3 and a noticeable difference between 3 and 5. Beyond that, though, it serves only to make up for sloppy composition -- ie, room for cropping. What the article barely touched on and makes the biggest difference in photo quality was the PHYSICAL SIZE of the chip (or film) and the quality of the lens... THE LENS! These make the biggest difference. Read the specs. Get the big chip and the time-tested name-brand lenses and you&#039;ll make great photos. You can find &#039;em for under $200 on eBay.</description>
